Job summary

Kettering Health in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts to deliver patient care using the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team.

The RN is responsible for professional development and practice within legal standards, acting as a patient advocate and participating in performance improvement activities to ensure safe care across the network.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse returning to acute care after five or more years may need to provide evidence of a refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have:

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
