Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking a Critical Care RN for night shifts across our integrated facilities in Oregon. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient- and family-centered care in critical care units, with oversight of other caregivers as required by the RN scope of practice.

The position emphasizes adherence to nursing standards, ongoing professional development, and contribution to hospital goals and VIP Lean initiatives. A BSN is preferred and Oregon RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN license.
• BSN is preferred.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS preferred.
• Basic ECG competency within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition using clinical judgment and plan care.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects per policy.
• Document patient care accurately and compliant with regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs.
• Provide leadership and oversee care by other caregivers during shift.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and VIP Lean initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
