Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team. This full-time night shift is 7pm–7am.

You will provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing medical and surgical treatments, educate families about disease processes, and collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure safety and quality care. A 1-year clinical nursing experience and BLS are required, with RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Associate degree in Nursing completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital staff.
• Serve as patient advocate and participate in unit activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
