Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and advocate for safety and quality in all settings.

The role supports 12-hour shifts during daytime hours. Experience and licensure in Ohio are required, with BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• If returning to acute care after 5+ years, may need to show a refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Accountable for professional development and practice within legal scope of care.
• Acts as patient advocate for safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance improvement activities.
• Delivers nursing care aligned with Kettering Health Network missions, vision, values, and nursing philosophies.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.
• The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• The delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network reflects the missions, vision, values, and philosophies, of the organization and nursing departments

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
