Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Lake Charles is hiring a Registered Nurse to lead milieu care and supervise nursing staff in an inpatient and outpatient psychiatric setting. Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license and be eligible for state certification.
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
• Strong ability to document accurately in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care using the nursing process from admission to discharge.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients on their use.
• Document care and progress in medical records accurately.
• Coordinate with staff and maintain patient safety and wellbeing.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
