Job summary

The Nolan County Hospital District in Sweetwater, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across shifts, ensuring standards of intensive care nursing practice are met.

Salary ranges from $27.60 to $49.80 hourly. Candidates must hold Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS and/or PALS (or obtain within first year in ICU). Prior ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (current).
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and/or PALS or to be obtained within first year of assignment to ICU.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Implement care and monitor patient progress.

Performs the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all patients in the unit during shift. Responsible for meeting the established standards of Intensive Care Nursing Practice. Cares for patients in all age groups with the majority of patients being adults.
