Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for the psychiatric patient population. Assists physicians during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations. May conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within behavioral health. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
