Evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the psychiatric patient population. Assists physician during psychiatric assessments and mental status examinations. May conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within behavioral health. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

BLS Certification
CPI Certification
