Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital in Liberty Township is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• CRRN preferred among qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
