Job summary

Sunplex Subacute Center in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts (days 7am-7pm and nights 7pm-7am). You will deliver care, administer medications, participate in care plans, and collaborate with physicians, residents, and families.

Candidates must hold a current RN license in good standing, have BLS, and ideally prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver patient care including medication administration and treatments per plan of care.
• Perform rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians and supervisors about resident status.
• Maintain accurate medical records during shifts.
• Other tasks as required.
