Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift at our Ocean Springs facility. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care across units, following the Nursing Process and recognized standards.

Responsibilities include collaboration with LPNs and patient care assistants, maintaining certifications, and ensuring safety and infection control. Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience preferred; BCLS and unit-specific certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing; RN licensed in Mississippi.
• Active BCLS certification and applicable specialty certifications as listed.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient clinical experience, within 5 years or recent refresher.
• Ability to perform nursing process and maintain clinical judgment.
• Must complete de-escalation training by orientation end (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per standards.
• Maintain required certifications for assigned areas.
• Collaborate with care team including LPNs and patient care assistants.
• Adhere to safety, infection control guidelines and protocols.
• Meet schedule and communicate with the Patient Care Manager.
