SYNERGY HomeCare of Charlotte is seeking an RN for a PRN position to perform client assessments and develop plans of care. You will conduct in-home supervisory visits every 90 days and supervise CNAs and HHAs to ensure quality home care.

Flexible hours and a semi-retired or part-time schedule make this ideal for an RN seeking extra income while helping seniors at home.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in NC.
• Current negative TB screening.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pass criminal record and background check.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to learn new tasks quickly.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of NC DHHS regulations pertaining to home care agencies.
• 1-2 years experience in non-medical home care, home health care or senior related industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial Client/Family Interview and assess Client to develop the Plan of Care (POC).
• Set service expectations with Client/Family.
• Perform in-home RN visits every 90 days to evaluate the scope and quality of care given to client.
• Ensure that Client charts are in good standing and are in compliance with NC DHHS regulations regarding licensed home care agencies.
• Support and assist with periodic surveys with the Agency Director & RN Supervisor.
• Assist with caregiver orientaion if needed.
