Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Winona, MN, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support both Primary Care and Specialty Care teams. The 0.8 FTE position offers shift coverage 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or holidays, and a collaborative work environment on the Winona campus.

Responsibilities include triage, wound care, INR management, patient education, and EPIC/MyChart workflow management. Minnesota RN licensure is required; Wisconsin licensure within 90 days is also necessary.

Qualifications

• RN license to work in Minnesota required upon hire, RN license to work in Wisconsin needed within 90 days.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS for health care providers
• One year of RN experience preferred; ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients of all ages in both primary and specialty care settings.
• Triage patient phone calls and assess patient needs.
• Monitor and manage INR results.
• Assist providers during procedures and deliver patient education.
• Manage EPIC in-basket workflows and MyChart communications.
• Conduct nurse-only visits, including wound care, ABI testing, hypertension follow-up visits, and patient education.
• Collaborate with outreach clinicians and specialty providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
