Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit. This role is 0.75 FTE with straight 12-hour night shifts (1830–0700) and every third weekend, including two holidays per year.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed care for adults and adolescents (13+), manage crises, medications, and therapeutic interventions, while ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in Wisconsin
• Preferred: 1+ year of RN experience in mental health
• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.
• Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and regulatory standards.
