Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Presurgical Testing. This full-time position supports a multidisciplinary team and emphasizes direct patient care, assessment, and coordinated care for complex surgical patients.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, an ADN or Diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience, with BSN preferred. Located in Braselton, GA, the shift runs 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational Requirements: ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire

Responsibilities

• Leads interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions.
• Demonstrates governance and teamwork to improve patient outcomes and experience.
• Applies nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication with the care team, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and open dialogue for practice improvement.
