Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care, and support transitions of care across the perioperative path including Preop and PACU.

The RN will mentor others, lead quality improvement, and work with flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; BLS and ACLS required; RN license in state; Mayo's compensation and benefits support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, as recognized by ACEN, CCNE, NLN CNEA.
• All entry-level associate degree RN with start date April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.
• 1 year of RN critical care experience required in ICU, PACU, or ED. PACU preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care, education and transitions of care.
• The RN supports professional nursing practice across settings and the continuum of care.
• Position will provide coverage in both Preop and PACU; leadership and quality improvement activities may be involved.
