Surgical Center of Westlake Village, part of United Surgical Partners International, is hiring a PRN PreOp/PACU RN to join our team. The role is at an ambulatory surgery center in Westlake Village, CA, with a pay range of $45–$70 per hour and benefits.

The RN will provide perioperative nursing care and collaborate with staff and physicians to ensure quality outcomes. The successful candidate will have 1–3 years of PreOp/PACU or critical care experience, an unrestricted RN license in California,

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have 1–3 years of PreOp/PACU and/or Critical Care experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications required.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to patient condition changes.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Job Summary:

• Provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• Provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Pay Range: $45.00 - $70.00/hour

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
