USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated PreOp/PACU RN to join our team. We have 2 main OR rooms and 2 endoscopy rooms, performing outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Colorectal, General, Plastic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and GI Endoscopy. The position requires availability Monday-Friday and one Saturday a month based on staff rotation, with schedule adjustments based on surgical flow. Candidates should be prepared for early mornings and later evenings.
Note: The role involves weekdays only and one Saturday per month, with no holidays or call required. Some later evenings may be necessary.
The Pre-Op/PACU RN is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre-op and post-surgical patients, in line with our mission statement. Responsibilities include developing patient care plans, monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea post-anesthesia, and participating in quality improvement activities as designated by the Clinical Director.
