Job summary

Choice Care Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time RN PreOp PACU to join our ambulatory surgery team. The RN will provide patient care before and after anesthesia, monitor recovery, and assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterilization procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the perioperative period. Qualifications include an accredited RN program graduate, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS (PALS if required by the center), with 2

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with continual evaluation of condition.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Deliver total comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, and discharge preparation.

Choice Care Surgery Center is hiring a Full-Time RN PreOp PACU

Welcome to Choice Care Surgery Center

We have 3 OR rooms, 2 Treatment rooms and 2 Cath Labs. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Registered Nurse Preop/Pacu at Choice Care Surgery Center:

The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications
