Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team. The RN will provide professional perianesthesia care across ages and use the nursing process to direct care, with supervision of PAT/PACU staff.

Qualifications include AZ RN licensure, current BLS, eligibility to work in the U.S., and ability to obtain ACLS/PALS within 60 days. Competitive pay and benefits are offered; on-site schedule Monday–Friday with 4 ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.

• Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
• May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona
• Current BLS certification
• Must be able to achieve ACLS & PALS certification within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others
• Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
• Previous PACU, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
