Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking an RN PreOp/PACU to join our team for outpatient procedures across ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and more. The role requires availability Monday–Friday with some early mornings and later evenings, no holidays or weekends, and no on-call.

The RN provides perioperative care in Pre-Op and PACU environments per the care plan. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Texas RN license,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years' PACU or ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care from pre-op through PACU.
• Follow the medical plan of care and organizational policies.
• Ensure patient-family centered care and safety in perioperative services.

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated RN PreOp/PACU to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in PACU or ICU
