Job summary

Vanderbilt Health Staffing Collaborative is seeking RN staff for short-term 13-week assignments across units at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Assignments include premium pay and optional health benefits, with weekend/holiday coverage as needed and flexible shifts.

Minimum requirements: RN license, active credentials (BLS, ACLS, PALS), and 1 year OR RN experience (2+ preferred). These roles support staffing across OR units within the system.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of recent OR RN experience, preferred 2+ years in OR.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
