Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse who independently plans and provides nursing care per physician orders and guidelines, within the scope defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold GA RN license in good standing, and be BLS certified; preferred BSN and 2 years RN experience plus additional life support credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Acts in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
