The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre/Post Surgery Days. This full-time, mid-shift role at Cambridge Tower A involves delivering professional nursing care, coordinating patient education, and supporting a safe, high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through assessment, documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for patient comfort and well-being.
• Carries out a care plan based on unit competencies for the target patient population.
• Coordinates care delivery and education with patients, families and health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Follows organizational policies to provide safe patient care.
• Demonstrates professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
