Job summary

Mountain View Surgery Center at Scottsdale is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to join our team. The RN will provide quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center, handling pre-op positioning, patient prep, and intraoperative circulation.

Must hold a valid RN license and have 1–3 years of PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy background; BLS/ALS/PALS are required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years of PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.

Responsibilities

• The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process and care plan.
• In the operating room, the RN delivers nursing care during surgery cases.
• The RN works in PreOp/PACU, positions and preps the patient and circulates the case.

Job Summary

• The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
