Job summary

Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for day shift. This in-person role supports patients with comprehensive nursing care, coordination with physicians, and family education.

Expect to work Monday–Friday, 8am–5:30pm, with 72 hours per pay period across four shifts weekly. Eligible for student loan repayment and a robust benefits package that starts at hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential function with or without accommodations.
• Active RN license in the state of practice and upon hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused nursing care by reviewing prescriptions and coordinating with the health care team.
• Develop and document nursing care plans with patient histories and objectives.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
