Legent Health is seeking a RN for Pre-admissions Testing in Bellaire, TX. This full-time role entails coordinating pre-admission testing, patient registration, and ensuring accurate documentation for surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in surgery or PACU RN.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating registration for any patient requiring pre-admission testing.
• Managing patients' admission processes to preoperative department in our hospitals and/or surgical centers.
• Coordinating of pre-surgery testing of patients for outpatient surgery and same day surgery.
• Assessing the status of patients’ health in pre-op and ensure accuracy of identification wristband.
• Ensuring that operative and informed consents are in order.
• Determinining the surgeon and procedure being carried out.
• Taking and recording vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure.
• Initiating IVs and ensuring that patients are informed about the procedure and attending medical staff.
• Exhibiting the Company Standards of Excellence and always exercises strict confidentiality.
• All other duties as assigned.
