Universal Health Services, Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, seeks a full-time Pre-Admission Testing RN to coordinate preoperative assessments. You will optimize patient health, review tests, and liaise with physicians to ensure smooth surgical flow.

Required: ADN with Florida RN license and 2+ years of nursing experience; BSN preferred. Responsibilities include education, documentation, and reducing delays through early risk identification.

Qualifications

Alan B. Miller Medical Center

A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS' growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.

RN, Pre-Admission Testing (Full Time Days)

The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurseis responsible forcoordinating and completing the preoperative assessment process for patients scheduled to undergo surgical or procedural interventions. The PAT RN ensures that patients are medicallyoptimizedand prepared for surgery by completing comprehensive nursing assessments, reviewing diagnostic testing, coordinating with physicians and ancillary departments, and providing patient education.

The PAT RN plays a critical role in reducing surgical delays and cancellations byidentifyingpotential clinical risks prior to the day of surgery and ensuring all required documentation, laboratory testing, and clearances are completed in advance

Education Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
