About the Position

Sentara Cardiology Specialists are hiring a full‑time Registered Nurse Practice Coordinator in Williamsburg, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Functions as a clinical leader under the direction of the Practice Manager for patient care services.
• Schedules and assigns clinic staff to meet patient care and clinic needs.
• Performs patient care, develops and implements clinical practice guidelines and protocols.
• Provides support with patient decision‑making, education, and coordination of services to assure quality outcomes.
• Coordinates and collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants.
• Delegates and supervises tasks (procedures, treatments) to LPNs and MAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in nursing.
• Active RN license in VA or Compact.
• Specialty certification in professional nursing practice preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
