Overview

Sentara Medical Group Cardiology Specialists are now hiring a Full-Time Direct Care Registered Nurse at the Williamsburg, VA location! All qualified candidates can receive up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.

City/State: Williamsburg, VA

Work Shift: First (Days)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p or 8:30a-5p, Dayshift. In‑Office, No nights, holidays or weekends!

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough assessments and design & implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Utilize clinical judgment to address complex health situations, consult with medical team, and document care per regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma RN/ADN/BSN/MSN.
• RN license in Virginia or Compact/Multistate.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required after hire.
• Clinical experience preferred; no new grads.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.
