Job summary

West Penn Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, offers a Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit (Mother/Baby) with 33 couplet rooms and a 36-bed Level I Nursery staffed per shift by an RN. The hospital is magnet-recognized and highly rated for OB-GYN care by national benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience within the previous five-year period.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR Certification.
• Act 34/33/73 FBI and related background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provides transformational leadership in professional practice.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to evaluate care and health services.
• Ensures patient safety initiatives and adherence to care standards.
• Mentors and supports staff, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintains patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
