Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Frisco is seeking an experienced RN to plan, direct, coordinate, and implement nursing care for postpartum and gynecologic patients. You will ensure safe delivery of patient care in alignment with Joint Commission and state/federal standards.

The role requires an RN license in Texas, BLS, and NRP prior to orientation completion, with at least 1 year of relevant hospital experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of RN hospital experience in L/D, Antepartum, Postpartum, or med-surg.
• RN licensure current in Texas.
• BLS certification.
• NRP required before orientation completion.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet unit needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and implement nursing care for postpartum and gynecologic patients.
• Ensure high-quality, safe patient care compliant with Joint Commission and Federal/State standards.
• Cares for patients across the lifespan from adolescence to geriatrics.
