Job summary

Baptist is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process. The nurse collaborates with patients and families to attain, maintain and restore health, blending compassion with clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, administering medications, and teaching patients and families. Candidates must have RN license and BLS, weekend shifts, and be prepared for 36 hours per staffing time

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Must be able to work weekend shifts; 36 hours of special staffing time annually.

Coordinates and provides care utilizing the critical thinking framework known as the nursing process. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.
