Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Part-time RN or Pharmacist to serve as a Poison Information Specialist in Milwaukee. The role handles emergency calls, providing assessment and education on toxic exposures to healthcare providers and the public.

Flexibility includes a hybrid work arrangement after orientation, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus provided after 120 days. Qualified candidates will have WI RN or Pharmacist licensure, a pediatric clinical background, and CSPI exam readiness.

Provides caller with assessment, evaluation, disposition, and education and prevention information regarding human toxic exposures using medically approved guidelines in computer software systems.* $2,500 Sign-on bonus - paid after 120 days* **Part Time - 0.5 FTE*** Schedule is a combination of:* Days (6am - 2:30pm) Example* PM (2:30pm - 11:00pm) Example* **Holiday rotation*** **Onsite at Children's Corporate Office - then hy**brid - after orientation* **Must live within a commutable distance to Wauwatosa, WI****Education*** Registered Nurse (Associate or Bachelor's degree) required* OR* Pharmacist with Bachelor's degree along with previous clinical or Poison Center experience. **Experience*** Three years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care in a pediatric setting preferred.* Previous experience in an AAPCC certified Poison Center preferred.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Successful completion of exam for Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI) after meeting the requirements put forth by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Exam is offered once per year.
