Job summary

Avantara Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL seeks a Nurse Supervisor RN to lead the on-unit nursing team and support the Director of Nursing in daily operations. Responsibilities include staffing oversight, regulatory compliance, policy development, and staff education to ensure high‑quality guest care 24/7.

Required: RN license in Illinois, graduation from an accredited nursing program, CPR certification, and 2 years RN experience (5 years preferred).

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Valid, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff.
Ensure Nursing Department compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop, implement and update department policy and procedures when necessary or as directed.
Assist with staffing to ensure Guest needs and regulatory requirements are met.
Participate in Federal, State and Local agency surveys and inspections.
