Job summary

Medix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a plastic and reconstructive surgery practice in Beverly Hills, CA. The role spans Pre-, Intra-, and Post-Operative care with direct collaboration alongside the lead surgeon and senior RN.

Expect daytime, outpatient duties in a patient-centered setting focused on long-term relationships. You will participate in pre-op education, assist in procedures, oversee recovery, and ensure clear discharge instructions while coordinating care across the patient

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in California.
• Experience in plastic surgery, OR, pre/post-op or outpatient procedures.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative outpatient setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative Care: conduct consultations, review histories, educate patients, prepare for procedures.
• Intra-Operative Assistance: assist surgeon during outpatient procedures while maintaining sterile field and safety.
• Post-Operative Care: manage recovery, follow-ups, discharge instructions, ongoing care plans.
• Patient Ownership: coordinate continuum-of-care from initial consult to recovery.
