Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for Unity Plastic and Hand Surgery. This 40-hour per week position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on-site at 1561 Long Pond Road, Suite 133, Rochester, NY 14626.

As an RN, you will perform patient assessments, plan and implement individualized care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS if not on file.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services.
• Provides care in collaboration with interdisciplinary health team.
• Maintains nurse-patient relationship and adheres to policies.
• Initiates and documents education plan for patient and family.
• Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on patient response.
