Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Jacksonville, Florida campus to coordinate comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care. The role supports nursing practice across settings under the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education and transitions of care.
• Deliver leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts.
• Mentor and teach others, and participate on committees or projects.
• Ensure appropriate delegation of patient care based on skill and resources.
