Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model.

This part-time role offers flexible hours, 48 hours per pay period, 0645–1915 shifts, and potential TN sponsorship; requires current RN license and BLS, with state licensure requirements across regions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Lead and mentor within Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and participate in quality improvement.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources.
