Job summary

National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR seeks an experienced Clinical Coordinator (RN) to lead daily perioperative operations and support nursing teams. You will coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and collaboration with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary staff.

The role requires an active RN license, BSN preferred, and 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience with strong leadership and knowledge of HIPAA and CMS

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BSN preferred; Master’s or post-grad certification a plus.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally GI Endoscopy Center.
• Leadership capabilities in staff scheduling, mentorship and performance management.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Nurse Practice Act, CMS, and TJC.
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (per unit requirements).
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift-by-shift operational oversight for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor nursing care delivery and serve as unit clinical resource.
• Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Drive quality improvement using metrics and audits.
• Participate in unit and hospital-wide meetings and policy dissemination.
• Facilitate staff and patient communication and service recovery.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Nurse Practice Act.
