Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a registered nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgery ICU (CSICU). You will provide direct nursing care to pre- and post-operative cardiac patients and implement care plans to support recovery and outcomes.

This full-time day-shift role requires an ADN or BSN and an Ohio RN license, with BLS and ACLS either on hire or within one year. Relocation assistance and loan repayment programs are available.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocol.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN required)

Experience:

• 1+ years of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current RN License in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
