Cynet Health is seeking a Pediatric Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. The roving nurse may work across pediatric units, including NICU and L&D, and must have 2 years of Pediatrics Med/Surg experience at a Level I Trauma Center.

Epic charting is required, and BLS/PALS are mandatory with ACLS preferred. First-time travelers require 3+ years at a Level I Trauma Center, and the facility is nicotine-free.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Pediatrics Med/Surg at a Level I Trauma Center.
• BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3+ years of experience at a Level I Trauma Center.
• 100% Nicotine free facility.

Responsabilités

• Rover nurses may perform tasks in various inpatient units, including NICU, Labor and Delivery, and adult acute care.
• Tasks may include turning, repositioning, bathing, assisting with patient transport, ambulation, meal assistance, and medication administration within individual comfort zones and training.
• The unit cares for a diverse range of pediatric patients, including solid organ transplants, trauma cases, oncology, and bone marrow transplants.
• Staff must be prepared to work a mix of shifts scheduled by the unit scheduler as per unit needs.

Description:Rover nurses may perform tasks in various inpatient units, including NICU, Labor and Delivery, and adult acute care.Tasks may include turning, repositioning, bathing, assisting with patient transport, ambulation, meal assistance, and medication administration within individual comfort zones and training.The unit cares for a diverse range of pediatric patients, including solid organ transplants, trauma cases, oncology, and bone marrow transplants.Staff must be prepared to work a mix of shifts scheduled by the unit scheduler as per unit needs.Staff are expected to work a minimum of 3 weekend shifts plus an additional required shift based on their schedule.Rovers may be required to float to different units and perform various tasks as needed.Holiday work requirements include working during 2 out of 3 major holidays.Staff should be comfortable with patient ratios and be skilled in various nursing tasks and procedures relevant to pediatric care.All contracts are subject to stipulations regarding requested days off, and requests must be listed in submissions.The facility is committed to providing care for complex and critically ill patients.
