Job summary

Description:Responsible for providing nursing care to pediatric patients.The unit has 24 beds.Patient care ratios are typically 1:4 or 1:5.Common patient diagnoses include sickle cell, asthma, reactive airway disease, bronchiolitis, failure to thrive, sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, neonatal fever, dehydration, cellulitis, gastroenteritis, and ingestions, among others.May be required to float to primary care and emergency department on low census days.Candidate must adhere to nicotine-free policies and will be subject to drug screening.Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exceptions or declinations accepted.
