MedCadre seeks a pediatric hematology/oncology RN for inpatient care in San Diego. Night shift, 3x12s, 13-week assignment starting Nov 9. Requires CA RN license, APHON, BLS, PALS, and EPIC experience preferred. Travel allowed for strong inpatient Hem/Onc background.

Unit includes 38 beds with BMT/related services; hospital recognized for excellence. Parking provided and holiday coverage required.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• 2 years of pediatric hematology oncology experience with central line management.
• APHON, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• First-time traveler with strong inpatient Hem/Onc background considered.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• BMT experience preferred if traveler has it.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient hematology/oncology care.
• Manage central lines and related procedures.
• Document in EPIC and coordinate with care teams.
• Support 38-bed unit including BMT/related services.

Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00 Description: NOVEMBER 9 START ONLY 13 weeks 3x12 variable Must work 2 of the following 3 holidays (including Eves): Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's *APHON is required* Pending State License accepted: Yes if we have an ETA from licensing of when it will post Shift: 3x12s nights Years of experience REQ: 2 First-timer travelers accepted: (Y/N) : Y Weekend REQ: 4-weekend shifts per 4-week period. Weekends for dayshift are Saturday and Sunday and for nights are Friday and Saturday National Certs REQ: APHON, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Open to accommodating block schedule? Locals accepted: N RTO Restrictions: 6 days RTO max Guaranteed Hours: Hours are guaranteed after the call off policy has been met Special Requirements:

• - CA RN license
• - 2 years of pediatric hematology oncology experience with central line management experience
• - APHON

• - Will accept first-time traveler with strong experience
• - EPIC experience highly preferred -- will consider a candidate without EPIC experience if they have a very strong inpatient Hem/Onc background.
• - BMT experience preferred, if traveler has it please note on profile

Unit Summary: Hematology Inpatient 38 beds. BMT/Blood Cell transplantation/neuroblastoma/anemia/leukemia/lymphoma/solid tumor/hemophilia/ITP/sickle cell anemia/other hemoglobinopathies. IV therapy/sedation procedures/post ops/central lines/Hickman's/porta caths/blood products/chemotherapeutic agents.
