Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional nursing care on the Med/Surg Pediatric Unit. The role includes patient assessment, prioritizing needs, and implementing comprehensive care plans to support keystone outcomes.

New graduates within 6 months of graduation are welcome to apply. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available; RN licensure is required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; not required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS or PALS certification preferred at hire; must obtain if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing pediatric patient assessments with the care team.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric nursing care as assigned.
• Develop, implement and revise patient care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
