Mercy Health's St. Rita’s Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Nights Pediatric RN to deliver exceptional pediatric nursing care in a busy unit with potential overflow adult med-surg patients.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) or equivalent and an active RN license with BLS or PALS certification. EPIC EHR training is a plus, with 1 year of RN experience in pediatrics or related areas encouraged.

Qualifications

• RN license (state) and active licensure.
• BLS or PALS required/preferred; must obtain prior to direct patient care.
• 1 year of professional RN experience; pediatrics/med-surg preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide pediatric nursing care for inpatient and episodic (outpatient) needs.
• Develop and revise patient care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per policies and standards.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality care.
