Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an RN to join the Pediatric/Adult Unit on a full-time night schedule (36 hours/week). You will provide comprehensive patient care, collaborating with families to make hospitalization as smooth as possible, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Additionally, we take overflow adult patients with uncomplicated medical, surgical, orthopedic, and OB/GYN diagnoses as needed. Admission of adult patients excludes those with specific diagnoses that requires a higher level of specialized care.We work with families to make their children's hospitalization less traumatic by encouraging parental involvementWith chair beds in each room, as well as meal trays for parents, families remain together during difficult times. Each room has a TV with movies and video games available upon requestOur care team focuses on teamwork, compassion and relationship buildingWhat You’ll DoIn Conjunction With The Medical Plan Of Care, Independently Performs Systematic And Continuous Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.Requirements•Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State.
