Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas in Plano is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN to perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for the Pediatric Service Line. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing, hold a Texas RN license (or compact), have BLS, and PALS within six months of hire.

A BSN is required within 24 months for hires after 6/1/2012, plus at least one year of acute care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS provider (AHA/ARC).
• PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience in the last three years.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• Effective 1/1/2014 PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years, required.
