Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced RN for Pediatric Services on a night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) in Texas. This role emphasizes nursing processes and outcomes for the pediatric service line and requires acute-care experience.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license (or compact), BLS, and PALS within 6 months. Experience in pediatrics is required and essential for rotation and patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in Texas or compact license.
• Current BLS provider certification.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• Effective 1/1/2014 PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years, required.
