Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act, focusing on nursing process and outcomes for the Pediatric Service Line.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or willingness to obtain, current Texas RN license or compact, BLS, and pediatric experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with a dedicated nursing team in a high-quality, patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• Effective 1/1/2014 PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years, required.
• Experience in pediatrics is Required.
